redirection debugger not popping up for certain URLs

    Hi Rank Math:

    I have couple of redirects that do not work. I’ve tried using the debugger, but the debugger window does not pop up for these particular URLs redirects. I have 82 redirects and 2 of them do not work. Instead the go straight to my home page.

    For example, I want to redirect

    From = rooting-hormone
    To = rooting-hormone-in-water

    From = planting-indoors
    To = planting-indoors-with-pots

    For some reason, it’s only the ones that have the beginning part of the slug that are the same. In other words, ‘rooting-hormone’ is the same in both URLs.

    I have tried ‘Exact’, ‘Ending’, ‘Beginning’ etc.

    Please advise.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Could you please check in Rank Math > General Settings > Links if you have the Redirect Attachments option enabled?

    If so, please try temporarily disabling that setting and check the redirection if it’s working. It is possible that you have attachments with the same URL that’s why they redirect to your homepage.
