google cannot read sitemap error

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    I am not able to access the sitemap. It is throwing a 403 error.

    To fix the sitemap issues, please follow these steps:
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    Then, remove the sitemaps from Search Console and add sitemap_index.xml again and wait for Google to crawl the sitemap.

    That should fix the issue.

    If the Search Console is not able to fetch the sitemap, it is in most cases, simply due to a bug in the Google Search Console.
