Removing pages from sitemap

    Hello

    I cannot find the exact place where I can remove specific pages from sitemap. I have found the ones which are posts/pages with specific ID (WordPress) but other pages which are just hanging in the sitemap are still there.

    If I check .xml, then I cannot see these pages on sitemap that my Ahrefs crawler shows. This makes me a bit confused.

    Hello,

    Thank you for providing your website URL, Could you please tell us if you just want to remove the URL from sitemap or you also want to set noindex those pages? Because when you add the noindex to the post/pages it will automatically be removed from the sitemap

    You can also use the option in Rank math to exclude posts/pages with their ID in Rank math > Sitemap Settings
    exclude sitemap URL
