Hello: I have a problem. I added Schema about a week ago and neither the stars nor the ratings appear at the bottom of the post in the search.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you please share the affected URLs with us so that we can troubleshoot the issue further?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I checked one of your posts with Google’s Rich Results Test and the schema is being applied correctly.

It is just a waiting game until Google decides to include Schema for your website. I checked and Google is showing the version of the post that was cached on 1st June in the search results:

Please note that although Rank Math adds proper schema to your website, it is ultimately Google’s decision if they want to include them with your website or not. It depends on a lot of factors, authority and backlinks being just the 2 of them.

    Here’s what Google says:

“Google does not guarantee that your structured data will show up in search results, even if your page is marked up correctly according to the Structured Data Testing Tool.”

You can read more about the guidelines on this page:
    https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/sd-policies

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you for replying.
I have a question: I have a website to download mobile applications and games. What should I choose from the list?

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us.

You could select the option of Software Application since that’s essentially what you are referring to here.

Here’s an article about that type of Schema: https://rankmath.com/kb/software-schema/

Hope this helps clarify your doubts.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

Hello, do I have to edit article by article manually?
When I modified it to Software Application, the articles became written on it.

I have done these steps: Rank Math SEO >Schema (Structured Data) Settings >
Schema Type:Software Application > save changes

    Hello,

Thank you for keeping in touch with us.

When changing the default schema for a certain post type, only the new posts for that post type will be added.

Since you are using a Free version of Rank Math and your old posts have already the “Articles” schemas on them, the new default schema will not override the old posts to prevent any unwanted deletions or issues when switching schemas.

In order to change the schema for all your existent posts, you need to either create a global schema template or use the bulk edit options. https://rankmath.com/kb/bulk-editing-in-rank-math/#3-11-set-schema-markup-to-default-type-pro

Both those options are only available in the PRO version of Rank Math.

In the Free version, the only way to achieve this, for posts already created previous to you selecting the default schema, is by manually inserting the Software Application schema to all the posts that require so.

Hope this helps clarify your doubts.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

I tried to follow this instruction but it didn’t work

    Hello,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

I’ve checked again the URL on Google’s Rich Results test and got a different result.
    Invalid Price

For the Price field, since it’s Free you can put there 0 (zero) to fix the error on your schema.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.
