Rank Math Automatically changes website information

    Hello,

    I will raise a separate ticket for this. I am noticing that Rank Math is automatically changing our website’s information from “Small Business website” to “personal blog“. This has already happened twice only today and apparently it happens, when I publish a new blog post. This change can be seen in the Setup Wizard.

    I have added login details to the sensitive information area.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    I’ve tried publishing a new post (though I’ve set it to private since your site seems live at the moment), but the Setup wizard is not changing from “Small Business website” to “personal blog“ upon doing so.

    Let us know if we can test to publish a new post (public) to replicate this issue.

    However, for initial troubleshooting, please try clearing your website and browser’s cache to rule out caching issue in this case.

    Please ensure first to enable your WordPress debugging mode by following this guide: https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/ or you can get in touch with your web host, they will help you locate the log file.

    I believe the file you shared is a PHP class code coming from our plugin.

    If you prefer, we can check your WP admin directly so we can further replicate and debug the issue while checking the error.

    And just a note: if you turn on the debugging on our FTP, could you do it so that is not publicly visible? If it shows publicly, it will break the website design on many pages.

    Thank you for getting back to us.

    I have gone ahead and accessed your site, and noticed that it was on “Personal Blog”. I have changed it to Small Business Site and saved those changes. Upon creating a private post this has not changed the settings done on the setup wizard. See screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/Ndb9jT

    Also did not replicate any errors on the console tab while saving these settings in the setup wizard. Usually, they could be reset since the wizard is normally used for users who are starting the process from scratch.

    I have gone ahead and tried to access your error log via your FTP credentials but it seems as though they are wrong as I could not log in. If you do not mind you can update them for further checking.
