    hey i have a my website Cricket Records. I’m having trouble writing the meta description.
    I don’t understand how long it should be.
    My meta description is also not showing in Google
    can you guide me what the actual length of the meta description is, and what step can I do my description show on google

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Meta descriptions can be any length, but Google generally truncates snippets to ~155–160 characters. It’s best to keep meta descriptions long enough that they’re sufficiently descriptive, so we recommend descriptions between 50–160 characters.
