This site is running Yoast SEO at the moment, with Rank Math you will be able to modify the global robots settings as well as make the robots change on a page by page basis using an intuitive UI via the Rank Math metabox.
You can also configure the plugin to auto generate the meta description from the post excerpt if one is not available by assigning the %excerpt% variable.

Because it uses a theme with its own builder, will be there any problem with description and short codes?

Thanks for the question.
I cannot guarantee that there won’t be compatibility issues without some knowledge of this page builder. The current titles and descriptions will also be imported into Rank Math during setup.
Please note that if Rank Math won’t be a good fit for this website, you can easily deactivate it and active Yoast without a direct impact on your SEO.
