Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

Thank you for that information.
I’ve checked your site, and it seems that you’re using a template for your homepage. If you head over to your WordPress dashboard > Settings > Reading, you will notice that the homepage displays an additional theme layout.
The settings in Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Homepage will only apply if you are using Your latest posts option. You can select that and check your homepage’s source code will have the meta description as well. You can also check it using this tool.
