    I want to submit my new website sitemap to google search console but google could not found. i have tried all methods to submit the XML sitemap but still I am facing the same problem I have read all steps to submit sitemap to google search console and followed them but I can not index my posts to google, please give me solution.

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I checked your sitemap and it’s working fine. However, in your robots.txt file, your sitemap URL is set as sitemap.xml while Rank Math uses sitemap_index.xml.

    Please edit your robots.txt file from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Edit Robots.txt and set the correct sitemap URL. The remove all previously submitted sitemaps from your GSC and resubmit your main sitemap(https://yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml) and wait for Google to crawl your sitemap.
