Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Misc pages
and enable Noindex Search Results, Noindex Paginated Pages as shown below:
If you have done it already and still not reflecting the changes, there is a possibility that the pages must have been cached by the “cache plugin” clear the cache from your plugin and then try again.
I hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Ok so the above setting is if i do not want them to be indexed?
What if i want Google to index these?
Hello,
Thank you for getting back to us.
If you want Google to index these paginated pages you just need to leave the noindex paginated pages button to OFF. This will allow Google to index the pages.
I have just checked these pages and they already seem to be set to index. So it is just a matter of time before Google decides to crawl all your pages.
Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other concerns.
Hi
It is still showing the following pages as “Non Indexable” in screaming Frog, why?
https://theyorkshireboilercompany.co.uk/boiler-advice/2/ text/html; charset=UTF-8 200 OK Non-Indexable
https://theyorkshireboilercompany.co.uk/boiler-advice/3/ text/html; charset=UTF-8 200 OK Non-Indexable
https://theyorkshireboilercompany.co.uk/boiler-advice/4/ text/html; charset=UTF-8 200 OK Non-Indexable
https://theyorkshireboilercompany.co.uk/boiler-advice/5/ text/html; charset=UTF-8 200 OK Non-Indexable
https://theyorkshireboilercompany.co.uk/boiler-advice/6/ text/html; charset=UTF-8 200 OK Non-Indexable
Hello,
Thank you for the follow-up.
I’ve checked the pages’ source code, and they are already set to index. I’m also unable to find any noindex
tag.
Could you please login to your search console dashboard and use the link checker to test the same URL: https://search.google.com/search-console/about and let us know if the same error is reported? This could be a screaming frog false-positive report if you have made the changes recently, and they are still seeing the cached version of your site.
I hope that helps.
Thank you.
