Hi,

great plugin, just moved today from many years with yoast.

Quick question. I DO want author pages indexes as they do quite well in search already. (I have a multi author site).
The settings for this are confusing and can’t tell is they are set or index or no index. I am new to plugin so new terminology to get used to……

Author Robots Meta default says – noindex? does that mean these pages are not to be indexed? do I turn that off? confused sorry

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the confusion.

I’m assuming that you are referring to the Author Robots Meta in Rank Math > TItles & Meta > Author

These will be the default settings for your author pages. You also mentioned that it was set to noindex on your site.

In this case, you’ll just need to make sure that the Index box is the only one selected like in the picture above, then save the settings.
