How to optimize a business directory

    Hi, I am building a business directory: FindBogholder.dk. Where customers can find local bookkeepers in Denmark.

    I am in doubt if I will benefit from using the pro version of RankMath. I create a subpage for each bookkeeper on findbogholder.dk. I am wondering if using the “Multiple location” option in the pro-version can be used to rank the bookkeepers individual subpages?

    Also another question. Do you know how best to structure the URL for the individual bookkeeper subpages for a business directory?
    Is it for example like this: findbogholder.dk/”Region”/”City”/”Company name” … or something else?

    When it comes to multiple locations we recommend users to only use them if the service they are providing is done/offered within those locations by their business. Or rather when their business is located within these locations.

    For your case here is a directory website that has several listings of accountants or bookkeepers in various locations. If these accountants are not or do not belong to your business then you should not use the multiple locations schema in these listing pages.

    Your Local SEO URL structure should be focused on your target audience.

    I would recommend you go for precision and accuracy as this will help Google and site visitors to identify your business much easier. Thus you can choose to include the region & business name or city & business name.
