FAQ Schema

    Hi,

On Friday I included FAQ schema on a post with Rankmath’s FAQ Schema Markup. Now, Google search console detects a Duplicate field ‘FAQPage’. I would like to remove the FAQ schema that already was for my post and only use the ones I’ve added with Rankmath schema markup, how do I do this?

    Best regards,
    Jesper

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi Ankit,

I have just sent the wordpress login. I don’t think it’s the settings but have a look.

    https://search.google.com/test/rich-results?id=fCpOCg6575Y7X9-RBKP5MA

This link is the rich result test where you see the duplicate page for FAQ. The first item is the one I want to have removed, but don’t know how to remove this and the second item is the one I want to have.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

Upon inspecting your website, I have found that you have another plugin installed called “WP FAQ Schema Markup for SEO”. I deactivated the plugin, and the issue seems to be resolved. You should not use multiple plugins for the same thing because it may cause conflict, as you can already see inside the Google Rich Results.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

Okay I actually see now that it was with that plugin that I inserted those FAQ structured data that I wanted. So how do I add structured data with Rankmath?

If you wish to make a FAQ page with the help of Elementor + Rank Math PRO, you can also visit the below guide :

I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.

I will need to have the pro version then, right? So if I go to the Rankmath dashboard and turn schema off, then it won’t interfere with the schema markup plugin I already have, or?

    Hello,

Yes, If you wish to add your FAQ schema with Rank Math + Elementor, you need to have the Rank Math PRO version. If you want to implement the FAQ schema inside Post/Page, you can do it with the free version.

So if I go to the Rankmath dashboard and turn schema off, then it won’t interfere with the schema markup plugin I already have, or?

No, It will not interfere. You can turn it off.

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

Okay great, thanks for your help!
