    Hello Team Rankmath,

I am keeping a track of my urls in the google by searching site:domain.com and i found that day by day my urls are getting deindexed from the search results and my tags are also not getting indexed.
Please have a look if my settings are fine. This is really a very big issue. I request you to please look at this as soon as possible and tell us all the possible measures to solve this.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us.

I checked your sitemap and it’s throwing an error.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

I logged into your website’s admin area and upon flushing the sitemaps cache and saving the Permalink settings, the error pointed by my colleague was resolved.

I also noticed that the sitemaps were not excluded from the caching plugin (WP Rocket) and thus were getting heavily cached. Since sitemaps are regularly updated based on the user’s activity, and search engines use the sitemaps to navigate through your website, the sitemaps should never get cached.

So, I went ahead and excluded Rank Math sitemaps from your caching plugin. It is likely that the decrease in the indexed pages was due to the error and caching of the sitemaps. Further, please give Google some time to re-index the pages.

Please have a look at the screenshots available in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

Thank you so much for the help.

    Hello,

We’re glad that we could address your concern.

If you have another question in the future, please feel free to reach out, and it will be our pleasure to assist you again.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for getting back.

I have removed the image that included the URL of your site.

And since your sitemap is working fine now, wait for Google to recrawl your sitemap and re-index your page.

Let us know if the issue persists. We really look forward to helping you.

The problem is still there. Still google is deindexing our pages and when we talked with the developers, they all suggested that it is the sitemap problem.

Please review the problem and resolve it. Creating high impact on analytics.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us,

Would you mind sharing your site URL for further checking of this issue? Please note that the sitemap is only used by Google to help discover your website pages more and more. Thus it could be likely that the sitemap is not causing the issue here.

We are looking forward to helping you.
    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thank you for that information.

I’ve checked your site, your latest posts, and some pages, but they are already appearing on the Google search results page. Could you please provide the affected URL/s to check this issue?

However, I’ve noticed in your sitemaps that your latest posts are not getting included there. In this case, please check this link for this issue:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/url-not-in-sitemap/

Also, it seems that the non-WWW version of your site is not yet redirecting to its final version (WWW version). I’ve attached a screenshot in the sensitive data section. You can use this tool to check that as well.

Please ensure that only 1 version of the sitemap is working (200 Ok status), and the rest are redirecting to it. Please follow the steps in this link:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/couldnt-fetch-error-google-search-console/#5-check-for-the-correct-version-of-the-sitemap

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.
