Hello,
I would like to switch from my current SEO plugin to Rank Math. My question: Can I strip the Tag Base and remove /tag/ from tag archive URLs for changing from example.com/tag/my-tag/ to example.com/my-tag like I can do for Category Base?

I am trying regex ^tag/(.*) to $1 as suggested in the above link but gives a not found error.
Rank Math’s strip category base option works perfectly. So I think Rank Math should add strip tag base option very importantly.
PS. I tried so many redirect regex codes, functions.php codes, permanlink settings, but nothing work. Finally a 5-year old wp no tag base plugin worked. It is 5-year old so it may stop working anytime. I again request Rank Math to add this “Strip Tag Base” option in its free version please just like the existing “Strip Category Base”.
