    Rank Math free

    Hello,

I was not aware of the consequences and deactivated the redirect attachments button and now it doesn’t allow me to put it back enabled. When I do it and try to save changes the page opens in this url mydomain.com/wp-admin/admin-post.php .

The 404 Monitor shows the error wp-admin/admin-post.php
And the redirect attachement keeps in the deactivate position if I come back. also it doesn’t allow me to change Redirect Orphan Attachments

at the wordpress settings I recentely change to www domain but the seo analisis give a green Both www and non-www versions of your URL are redirected to the same site.

Any idea how to solve this?

    Kind regards
    JP

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Please follow these steps for initial troubleshooting:

    1. Head over to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click the Remove transients button. Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use the Easy Mode. Please follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/advanced-mode/

    2. On your WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks, click the save changes.

    3. Clear your website’s cache and try enabling the redirect attachments again.

For the SEO Analysis, Rank Math checks the same for your website. If the proper redirects are in place, you pass the test which will show the green check/dot.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

    Hello Reinelle,

It didn’t work, the moment I hit “save changes” it jumps to mydomain.com/wp-admin/admin-post.php .

Do you want me to give you acess and take a look?

    Kind regards
    JP

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

Thank you, and we really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Can you please check if there are any memory timeout issues on your website? I head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > System Status and I noticed that you only have 30, set for your “PHP time limit”. Please contact your web hosting provider and set the “PHP time limit” to at least 120.

If the issue persists, could you please share some FTP access so we can dig deeper into this.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello Jeremy,
I’ve already changed the time limit, it now shows the 120 max limit but the issue remains even after tryed the remove transients technique

If you need the ftp acess tell me

I’ve updated the ftp acess to my website

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Please get in touch with your web host and ask them to set these PHP values on your site:

    PHP Memory Limit: 512M
    Max input time: 150
    PHP time limit: 120
    PHP max input variables: 1000

    2. Also ask them if you have the Mod Security feature enabled in your server, as this suggests that the rules that have been set are blocking the requests from our plugin.

    3. Once done, clear your website’s cache and try saving your general settings.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

    Reinelle,

it was the Mod security, as I turn it off in the cpanel I was able to activate redirection attachements

many thanks, I will come back soon I need to know more about the schema potencials in the Pro version

    best regards
