    Category archive titles aren’t changing according to the global title and meta settings. Can you look into this? (meta is changing, page titles aren’t)

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    Most of your categories have some manual titles entered on the Rank Math metabox which is overriding the global settings as shown below:

    You will need to remove these titles for the global settings to take effect.

    You’re referring to the meta title, why call this option ‘Titles & Meta’ if it only changes the meta titles for search engines?

    In yoast seo the actual page titles of category archives are changed along, with rank math im currently stuck with for example Tag Archives: Search term.

    What’s your suggestion to fix this?

    Hello,

    Thank you for the response.

    I am afraid that this is the default working of Rank Math, the plugin will only create meta data that will be included on the < head > section of your pages without modifying the actual page titles.
