    Hi Team,

    I am using the Google indexing plugin on travelzine.co.uk but get “Error undefined” when tryingto submit any url.

    5:50:42 PM getstatus https://www.travelzine.co.uk/
    {
    “readyState”: 4,
    “responseText”: “0”,
    “responseJSON”: 0,
    “status”: 400,
    “statusText”: “error”
    }
    ——————————————————–
    5:50:40 PM update https://www.travelzine.co.uk/
    {
    “readyState”: 4,
    “responseText”: “0”,
    “responseJSON”: 0,
    “status”: 400,
    “statusText”: “error”
    }

    I have followed the documentation and got my API key etc and service account but it just wont work. Any ideas? I am submitting it from the domain itself so not sure what this could be?

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out and we are sorry but we do not have any other instructions we can share.

    The instructions we have are correct, updated, and they work for 100s of other users.

    It is very likely that you missed a step and didn’t follow the instructions correctly.

    We request you to check each step and follow the guide religiously. Please create a new API using the video tutorial we have here for easier follow along the process:

    Here is a tutorial for your reference as well:

    Also note that, According to Google currently, the Indexing API can only be used to crawl pages with either JobPosting or BroadcastEvent embedded in a VideoObject. For websites with many short-lived pages like job postings or livestream videos, the Indexing API keeps content fresh in search results because it allows updates to be pushed individually.

    Hope that helps. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Hello,

    Thank you.
