plugin conflicts

    Rank Math pro

Periodically, Rank Math warns that I have 2 SEO plugins active, which is not good. It then offers to deactivate itself.

I don’t want to deactivate Rank Math; I want to deactivate the other one. The problem is that the warning doesn’t tell what other plugin it thinks is an SEO plugin. So I can’t deactivate it. Please add the name of the plugin you find to the error message.

It also doesn’t tell that the message comes from Rank Math. It should. I had to experiment to see what got deactivated when I clicked for deactivation.

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

You are right that the option that deactivates other plugins in the notification doesn’t state the plugin name. I’ve already passed this to our dev for further investigation.

Meanwhile, we can also help and take a look at your plugins list for determining those possible 2 SEO plugins activated on your website. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

Thank you, and we really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
