Header footer needs SEO? and NoIndex?

    Hi,
    there’s this header footer elementor plugin, and it allows me to add them to sitemap or add some SEO to the header, since it’s “built” as a separate page/section. however, the fact that I’m using the header plugin and telling it to put the header in all my pages, when I go to those pages it doesn’t count the internal links from the header/footer. Is it bad? and, should I set the header and footer as noindex? will it affect negatively my whole page since it’s including that section?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    We can only check for the internal links (or any content for that matter) placed inside the Elementor content area. We do not look for widgets, headers, footers, or any related posts placed using custom coding or plugins.

    You should also set those headers and footer pages to noindex if you do not wish them to be included in the Google SERPs.
