Hello,
Thanks for contacting us.
We do not change the actual code on the website and all the settings that are related to code modification (like adding the NoFollow attribute), are processed on runtime.
So, if you change the settings, then all the posts that were affected previously will still get updated. Meaning that if you disable the NoFollow External Links option, then all the links that have NoFollow attributes will be affected.
For more details, please refer to our tutorial guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/general-settings/#no-follow-external-links
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Well, I request you to forward this issue to your Developer team because this needs to be solved. I unchecked that option today and noticed that all of the external links were automatically converted to Do-Follow.
How is it possible to edit all of the previously added posts and make their links no-follow again one by one. This is not possible for me. I need a solution for it
Hello,
Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.
The absence of no-follow
automatically means do-follow. If you enable the Nofollow External Links, you should see the Nofollow Domains option:
You can put there all the domains you wanted to only have the no-follow
attribute to your external links. This means only the links to the domains listed in the NoFollow Domains will be no-followed, the rest of the links will be followed.
If you leave that option blank, all of your external links will have the no-follow
attribute.
I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance.
