Content length wrong

    Hello,

    we have the problem that the content length isn’t counted correctly. We are using Avada (https://avada.theme-fusion.com/) as theme in wordpress and Avada uses a bunch of shortcodes to build the design of the website. Here is an example:

    We have only about 600 words used on our example page but your tool counts 6477. Is there a possibility to improve your counting? It would be nice to use this content length tool but like this it’s not usefull.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Since you mentioned that you’re using Avada with fusion builder, the content analysis tests might fail but it does not affect your SEO or rankings. It is only used as an internal metric to give you a to-do list of things you can do to optimize your website.

    Apart from that one teeny-tiny thing, everything else works great. Even for that issue, we have added API access to the content analysis in the Rank Math plugin to make content from page builder plugins readable by Rank Math.
