Redirect site sections

Hi,
I’d like to redirect everything from a section of my site

https://my-site-url.com/shop/*

I wanted everything in this subsection to go to A page “shop-removed” but instead it goes to shop-removed-removed-removed etc until it times out.

When I try this, even trying regex, it does crazy things. How can I do this?

I know I can just use a different page tag but I don’t want any random pages I might have that have the word shop in them to be redirected. Just this subsection of the site.
