I am still facing problems with some pages being marked as “noindex” by search console.
de/deutsch-online-lernen is just one of them. The Reading Settings are allowed to index and so do robot. Please advise, thank you

Please check if any other plugin or theme is adding this additional meta tag.

The issue seems to be new, as this is the first time google search console has notified me. I have not added any plugins in the last months or changed my theme (Enfold). How can I check if any other plugin is causing this? Thank you.

Sorry, I still need help. I have downloaded the troubleshooting plugin, disabled everything, even changed the theme = followed all the instructions in the file you sent. However, when I “view-source:” I get completetly different information on different browsers. even when all is disabled some still show robots:noindex,follow, if I do it on Chrome, where I also have wordpress open, I don’t get any info on index,or noindex. I use the cmd+F to search for “robots, index, noindex, follow,…” etc.
Can you please guide me further on this. Even if I refresh the pages I’m not getting the info I need. What am I missing here/doing wrong?Hello,
Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.
During troubleshooting mode, please enable only Rank Math and the default theme then visit the affected URL using the same browser and check the source code. You should find in the source code the meta robots.
Then enable your theme and see if it adds the meta robots to your website by reloading/refreshing the affected URL and check the source code.
If not, do the same process while enabling your plugins one by one during troubleshooting mode.

Thank you. I did exactly as told/seen. However, before I even get to the part of enabling more plugins (in the default theme), the “noindex, follow” shows up on the affected pages. If I just check the frontpage, it is “index”. Any idea how to proceed? Thank you!

Thank you for that additional information, and sorry for the delay.
I’ve checked your site, and it seems that the health check plugin is not working properly on your website.
In this case, please create a staging site with the same issue as it seems that your site is currently live. This will also avoid your site getting any issues as we may need to deactivate plugins and switch themes manually to find the culprit.
As for your sitemap, it seems that it is heavily cached by your W3 Total Cache plugin. I’ve already excluded your sitemap from being cached and you should not get that error Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page.
