Canonical tag is not adding https before the website url – canonical issue

Rank Math automatically adds absolute paths for canonical URLs to your website (with https:). Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Could you please confirm if this issue is not with your current theme? You can switch to the default theme during the troubleshooting mode to check.

Since you mentioned that the troubleshooting is failing in your site, if you cannot deactivate temporarily the plugins (without troubleshooting mode), you can create a staging site to manually deactivate the plugins or theme without affecting your live site to identify which of them is causing this issue.

You can also add the staging site login credentials in the designated Sensitive Data section for us to investigate.

It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.
