1.Do the videos need to have captions for it to be shown in google search?

There is no Hard and Fast rule however, the more you will optimize your content (videos), the more will be its chances to appear on Google.

2.Can the videos be hosted anywhere?

Could you please describe what you mean by “anywhere”?

3.For video schema, will the plugin auto generate it or will we have to spend time filling the fields?

Rank Math comes with a Auto Detect Video option that when enabled, automatically detects videos and add the Video schema to them. You can find this option under your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > General Settings > Posts and Pages.

4 .If we enable Video Schema, will other schema such as the Review Schema still work? Or can only one of them work?

Absolutely! You can add multiple schemas to your posts and pages and they will work simultaneously.
