    hi, how do i update redirects automatically once I have changed the URL?

    For example, when I change a URL for more SEO benefit it redirects all the current pages with that URL as an internal link to the homepage. What I want it to do is to update the new internal link automatically with the updated URL instead of using the homepage.

    Is this possilbe?

    Hi,

    When I update a blog with a new URL that has an internal link in a number of pages on my website, it updates the internal link to the homepage and not to the new blog page URL.

    Does that make sense?

    Thanks for the clarification!

    You can use the Auto Post Redirect feature. The Auto Post Redirect feature automatically creates a redirect from the old URL to the new URL whenever you change the URL (slug) of a post.

    You can enable this feature by heading over to your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > General Settings > Redirections. https://i.rankmath.com/EVHqfY
