We copied the contents to a .txt file and performed the importation without an issue.

The issue was fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin.
For use by other users and for you I believe I have identified what the problem was due to.
I had reset the development site, where I was trying to import Rankmath settings, with the WP Reset plugin, after the reset I simply reactivated the plugins installed on all of them only two created problems for me, Rankmath with the importer and Imagify.
For safety I uninstalled and reinstalled all the plugins, I believe that in the site cleaning procedure WP Reset free version, even if it does not intervene on the installed plugins it only deactivates them, may have created some errors in the scripts.
I emphasize that it is just a guess considering that I solved the problems by uninstalling and reinstalling all the plugins.
