  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Upon inspecting your website sitemap, it looks like it has some errors and the styling does not appear.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have logged in to your site and flushed the sitemap cache.

Finally, I have cleared your website cache with your caching plugin.

The sitemap is now opening correctly and it is also validated:
    sitemap
    validation

Please re-submit the sitemap_index.xml in the Search Console and wait for Google to crawl the sitemap.

That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

I am still getting errors for these image URLs:

    //www.selectyourstrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/717UgWmZgbL._AC_SL1500_.jpg

    Line 1 Parent tag:
    image

    Tag:

    Hello,

I have cleared your site’s cache and exclude the sitemap from being cached. The sitemap is now validating without any errors. Please check again.

Let us know if the issue persits. We are looking forward to helping you.

“This is not a valid URL. Please correct it and resubmit.”

    The error persists

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up, and sorry for the delay.

I’ve checked your sitemap, and it seems that the issue keeps on reverting even the sitemap URL has been flushed and excluded in your caching plugin Swift Performance.

However, I’ve done some research, and found out that in order for it to work correctly, you just need to enter “sitemap” in the field instead of the full URL e.g. https://www.yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml stated in their documentation.

Now your sitemap is already working fine. Please clear your site and server cache as well and make sure that your sitemap link is showing correctly. Then remove all the sitemaps you have submitted and resubmit your main sitemap only /sitemap_index.xml

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
