All 3 other versions need to redirect to 1 single variation of your URL.

If you are having issues with your rewrite code, I would suggest referring to your web host to give you a correct rewrite code for this to work.

thanks for your help, the links in the help article only show how to direct from non-www to www which is the opposite that I’m trying to do. I used the following code that I found but it does not work.

I will contact my site admins. Do you think that reinstalling the plugin would work? (I have not had this issue before and never had to redirect sitemap from www to non-www on other domains.)

If you reinstall the plugin, your site version will still remains the same. In this case, you may need to coordinate with your web host for further assistance with this redirection to fix the Google Search Console error.

Upon checking your website, it seems everything is in order and the robots.txt is also validated and working correctly.
Please clear your website’s cache and after doing so, head to your GSC and remove the previously submitted sitemap then resubmit your main sitemap(sitemap_index.xml).

I have cleared the website cache, reinstalled Rank Math, removed the sitemap from the GSC (mulitple times), added it again and again.
Still no luck.
Not sure what else can be done to be honest.

Please check if you have verified the correct version of your website on Google? Please check if you have verified the www (or non-www) and HTTPS (or HTTP) version of your website. If there is a mismatch, please fix that.
In your case, the verified URL should be https://design.ovh.
Finally, make sure you have cleared the cache and excluded Google bot from seeing a cached version of your sitemap.
This should resolve the issue.

hi again, it all has been checked and I can confirm that only one version of the page has been added to GSC. It looks like this is a Google bug which many users have reported. I will however make some further tests and use also other SEO plugin to make further testing.

If you have followed these and can view your sitemap without any problem, Rank Math is outputting your sitemap correctly, and the error must be coming from Google.
You can try and use a 3rd party sitemap plugin to confirm. Just make sure you have disabled the Sitemap module of Rank Math in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard when using a 3rd party sitemap plugin.
