    Hey dear Folks,

    on https://www.henrichsservicegmbh.de/page-sitemap.xml
its including images to the sitemap.

the problem is that some images are inlcuded as relative paths such as:
    /wp-content/uploads/2020/07/tf4_5306_palettenlager-henrichs.jpg

    google now gives errors:
    “its not a correct URL”

is there a way of making the sitemap so that it includes the absolut path from the images?
looking forward to get your help.

Thanks a lot and best greetings, Arno

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

I checked the URL you shared and it seems valid from my end, here is a screenshot:
    validated sitemap

Please ensure that the sitemap you have submitted is the main sitemap file which is /sitemap_index.xml. If you have submitted any other on your GSC, please remove all and only resubmit only the main one.

Before resubmitting your sitemap, please exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. Please follow this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Once done, refresh your sitemap by flushing the Sitemap cache as shown in this video screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

Thanks a lot,i made all these steps .. i will see if this helps within the next days.

in the xml there are still absulute and relative paths..

bit i will see if google is able to catch it correctly…

    Thanks and best wishces, Arno

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

I also wanted to add that usually, this issue is with Divi’s relative images feature. If you are using relative images, it will show that error in Google Search Console. Could you please try altering the image to a different type and see if the issue persists?

I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.
