Strip Category Base

    Rank Math pro

    I need to remove the post categories base and turn on the “Strip Category Base” in general setting>links
    but once I go “save setting”, the “Strip Category Base” will return “off”.

    I have tried multiple times and always turn off automatically if I click save setting button.

    Are you getting any error when you save?

    It could be a conflict between Rank Math and one of your installed plugins.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

    Try enabling only Rank Math, then check if the function is working. Then try enabling each plugin one by one until you found the conflicting plugin.

    Enable the default WordPress theme to test as well.

    You can use Chrome’s developer tool and use the console to see what error you are getting when hitting the save button. This will help identify your issues.

    Thanks for your reply.
    The “Strip Category Base” is successfully turned on now.
    But the /category/ still show in my URL.
