You can prevent your authors from being indexed on Google by heading over to Rank Math > Authors > Author robots meta and set this to noindex as shown below:

My screen does not look like this and I do not have this series of links under rank math: Rank Math > Authors > Author robots meta
When I go to authors In order to not include users in the sitemap I have to list them individually
Exclude Users
Add user IDs, separated by commas, to exclude them from the sitemap.
Icannot understand why users would ever be included in sitemap.

Apologies for the navigation error, the correct path should be Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Authors > Author Robots Meta
