Unable to Update Description Snippet - Support

I have created two pages that do not let me update the description snippet. I created them as pages, but the snippet refers to them as ‘posts’. The pages are
– https://www.granitetransformationssydneysouth.com.au/kitchen-and-bathroom-renovation-sutherland-shire/
– https://www.granitetransformationssydneysouth.com.au/kitchen-and-bathroom-renovation-st-george-area/

I also dont think these pages are being seen by Google. How can I ensure they are being ranked if they are not on my main menu?

What error are you receiving when you try to update the description?

Have you tried re-creating the pages from WordPress Dashboard > Add New?

To ensure that Google sees the pages, you need to ensure your Sitemap is updated and includes the pages.

I hope this resolves your issue.

Yes I tried creating as a new page and pasted sections into this new page. The snippet is still treated as a post and there is no option to edit it at all.

Hello,

Thank you for that information.

Could you provide a screenshot or record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the page treated as a post and edit the first post on this ticket in the designated Sensitive Data section?

It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.

Your pages/posts are automatically added in the sitemap after publishing if they are set to index and custom canonical URL. You can also check your sitemap in this link:
https://www.granitetransformationssydneysouth.com.au/sitemap_index.xml
