languages indexing issue

I have a bilingual French/English site

I use TranslatePress to manage languages and Rankmath for SEO

Google seems to index only the English pages even though the default language in TranslatePress is French.

So I wonder if there is a compatibility problem between TranslatePress and Rankmath or is there any particular setting to have the site is indexed at least in French ( the default language) or EVEN BETTER can the site be indexed in both languages.
