  • The Problem with german umlaute ÜÖÄ ist still alive for all
    “Das Fokus-Keyword wurde nicht in der URL gefunden.”

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    We do not convert all diacritics, that’s something we are going to do, but it’s a huge task, and we have been busy ironing out other issues in the plugin. However, I do not have an ETA with me, but I have added my internal vote to the request.

    For now, the tests will work only when a user uses the same diacritics characters in Focus Keyword and URL, content & Title.

    With that said, this only affects the SEO Score and SEO Score does not affect your actual rankings. It is for your reference only, and you can safely ignore the tests that you know for a fact are not relevant in your situation.

    I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.

    I have the same problems. The solution would be to check whether there is an ä ö or ü in the keyword and if there is an ae, oe or ue in the URL, then there is a green light. These are the paraphrases for German Umlaute in URL:

    ä = ae
    ö = oe
    u = ue

    Hello,

    Thank you for your suggestion.

    I will notify the dev team and see if this can be considered in resolving the issue.

    Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thanks.
