Faulty SEO analysis of disabled post types

    Hello RankMath Team,
While trying to achieve as high a score as possible in the SEO analysis, I am encountering a problem:
Although I have intentionally disabled the SEO meta box for several post types e.g. Form, MEC Designer and Testimonials (see Figure 1; https://ibb.co/BCHzGWc) I get a message that focus keywords are missing for posts of these post types (see Figure 2; https://ibb.co/r2vd2rc).
Apparently, the SEO analysis ignores the deliberately disabled post types and “pretends” that those post types must have set focus keywords.
How can I fix this obvious error? Thanks for any helpful tips on this.
    Best regards, Julian

  • Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch and I am extremely sorry about the trouble this might have caused.

I am sorry but this test will check for actual keywords on the posts, unless they are set to noindex, here is an article for reference: https://rankmath.com/kb/seo-analysis/#post-titles-missing-focus-keywords

That said, please note that the analysis does not affect your SEO or rankings. It is only used as an internal metric to give you a to-do list of things you can do to optimize your website.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
