Open Graph code no longer needed?

    Hello

    After searching the forums for a while, I found no answer to the ticket question.

    To this day, I have placed the Open Graph code in my custom function file (functions.php).

    I find that for example, when removing the Twitter tags, Rank Math activates them correctly. However in this code I have other functions.

    So with Rank Math: No or do I need to have this code in functions.php? Is the entire MRI setup sufficient?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    If you are using Rank Math, the code is not necessary since Rank Math automatically generates necessary meta tags for OpenGraph and Twitter.

    Here’s an example of auto-generated meta tags from Rank Math plugin to a single post:

    Jeremy, thank you very much for your response and information.

    I have already removed the code from my custom function plugin.

    Now I see another detail (even before removing the code), and it is that when I inspect (view-source: https: //okweb.co/) my home page https://okweb.co, I see that information is being displayed old, specifically the featured image (https://okweb.co/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Ok-Web-Destacada-2020.jpg), and even the image that it should show (https: // okweb. co / wp-content / plugins / ow-improvements-wp / okweb-open_graph.jpg) if there is no featured image. Keep showing the one that is not.

    I have changed this image in Rank Math settings, cleared RM, website and server cache (three layers) and still trying to debug input at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug / still does not take changes.

    What else could it be? Or what else should I configure or change?

    I’ve checked the link you have provided https://okweb.co/wp-content/plugins/ow-improvements-wp/okweb-open_graph.jpg, and I’m getting a 404 error page.

    Could you also check if you have already uploaded the image to the editor?
