Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and confusion about Social Metas.
1. Social Meta Section harbours all the settings related to the metadata for social media. You can find a detailed explanation in the link below:
https://rankmath.com/kb/titles-and-meta/#do-you-need-to-configure-all-these-settings
2. Facebook Authorship is used to credit authors when a post is shared on Facebook.
3 & 4. These data are used in the knowledge graph and the local SEO and is completely optional. If your site uses a custom app to share posts or other functionality, you can add the Facebook Admin or App ID on this option.
Note: If you do not have any functionality that requires an app, you can skip them. You can (and should) configure only the ones you’re interested in and intend to use in your business, and leave the rest of them blank.
I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.
Hi Reinelle,
Thank you that makes things clearer.
Best wishes, Barry
