Hello RankMath team,
i’ve just installed your plugin in a NEW website of a client of mine. I’m trying to connect the google search console by pasting my metatag in rankmath “webmaster tool” plugin panel. But even if i paste my metatag, google can’t verify it beacuse it finds a different metatag and not mine. And this wrong code is even used in the <head> of the website.How can i solve it?

The screenshots don’t seem to load from my end. Please note that you can have your site verified automatically by heading to Rank math > Analytics and click on connect Google.
The extra verification meta may be added by one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
If the issue persists, please record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the troubleshooting and edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
