All my options are missing all of a sudden

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

We have fixed the issue now, and you can update to the 1.0.54.3 version of Rank Math to fix the problem on Firefox and other browsers.

Sorry for the delay.

Based on your screencast, it seems that the meta description has been set to use %excerpt%. When the %excerpt% option is used, we pick up the first paragraph and use it as the meta description. You can’t highlight or edit that part because it is auto-generated from your content. You’ll notice if you type in the box, it will automatically erase the auto-generated words:
