    Hello Rank Math Support Team,

I’m experiencing an issue with the schema markup on my website. Although schema is enabled both globally in the Rank Math dashboard and individually for posts and pages, the structured data does not appear to be working.

I have the ā€œArticleā€ schema type assigned to all posts, but when I test them using Google’s Rich Results Test or the Schema.org validator, no schema markup is detected.

Additionally, in the Local SEO settings, I have correctly selected the About Page and Contact Page, but these pages also do not generate their corresponding schema markup when tested.

Could you please help me identify why the schema is not being generated or appearing correctly?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the schema markup on your website. Thank you for providing detailed information about your setup.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Test Your Rich Snippets: First, ensure that your schema markup is correctly implemented by using Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool. This tool will help you identify if there are any errors in your schema markup.

    2. Configure the Schema Markup: Make sure that you have configured the schema markup correctly in Rank Math. You can set a default schema type for your posts and pages by going to Rank Math SEO → Titles and Meta. Here, select the appropriate schema type for your posts and pages.

    3. Check Page Indexing: Ensure that the pages where you expect the schema to appear are indexed by Google. You can verify this using Google Search Console.

    4. Quality Issues: Sometimes, quality-related issues can prevent rich snippets from appearing. Ensure that your content is well-written, not thin, and that your site is mobile-friendly and loads quickly.

    5. Issues in Code: If there are any technical issues with the code used to implement the schema, it may not be recognized. Use the Schema Validator to check for any issues in your schema code.

If you’ve gone through these steps and are still experiencing issues, please reply to this ticket with your website URL so we can assist you further. A human agent from our support team will take over and provide more specific guidance.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to helping you resolve this issue!

    Hello,

Please share the affected URL so we can check the schema as well. You can add it to the sensitive data section by editing your first post

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.

Meanwhile, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), this can be caused by a conflicting plugin/theme with Rank Math.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c

Only the site admin would know, and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello!

Already update the post with Sensitive Data.

I tried to check it with the troubleshooting mode and it seems that is simply not working on this site. Did it with Twenty-twenty Five theme and only rank math activated and i wans’t seeing the markup.

Also, the only plugin i can think of having a conflict with Rank Math is Schema & Structured Data. But it has a compatibility mode with Rank Math and I have this plugin on other websites while having Rank Math too and I dont have this problem in other websites.

    Hello,

That could still be the case where Schema & Structured Data is overriding Rank Math’s schema structure. You can try debugging the situation but turning that plugin and see if Rank Math’s schema is generated.

We can’t debug the issue on your website because Rank Math isn’t installed.

Please share your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section so we can debug the issue ourselves.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
