  • Hello,

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with your sitemap page. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix the problem:

    1. Check for Plugin Conflicts: Use the Health Check plugin to determine if there is a conflict with another plugin or theme.

    2. Validate Your Sitemap: You can validate your sitemap using the Validate XML Sitemap tool to ensure it is correctly configured.

    3. Ensure the Sitemap is in the Root Folder: Make sure your sitemap is located at `https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-sitemap-issues/ with only one forward slash between your domain name and sitemap path.

    4. Check Index Settings: Ensure that your posts are set to index. Go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and enable the Index checkbox in the Robots Meta settings.

    5. Exclude Sitemap from Caching: If you are using a caching plugin, make sure to exclude the sitemap files from being cached. You can find more information on how to do this here.

    6. Custom Code for Caching Issues: If the issue persists, you may need to add a filter to your theme’s rank-math.php file to disable caching for the sitemap:

      add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

    If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention!
