Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with the focus keywords and the discrepancies in your Rank Math settings. It sounds like there may be some confusion regarding how focus keywords are being applied across your pages and posts.
To address the issue of missing focus keywords in your post titles, here are a few steps you can take:
-
Check Focus Keywords: Ensure that you have set a focus keyword for each of your posts and pages. You can do this by editing each post/page and looking for the Rank Math metabox where you can add the focus keyword.
-
SEO Analysis Tool: Use the SEO Analysis tool to identify which posts/pages are missing focus keywords. This tool will help you see if there are any discrepancies in the focus keywords set for your content. You can find more information about using the SEO Analysis tool here.
-
Home Page Settings: For your homepage, make sure that you have selected a specific page as your homepage under WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays. If you haven’t set a specific page, you won’t be able to add focus keywords to it using Rank Math.
-
Recheck Published Posts: If you’re seeing different results when checking published posts, ensure that you refresh the SEO analysis after making any changes to see updated results.
If you continue to experience issues or if there’s a technical problem with your site, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to resolve it for you soon!
Hello Mr. Pero, I’ve faced a similar issue while optimizing my website, Umrah Cab Online, which also uses the Rank Math plugin. This usually happens due to cached metadata or a mismatch between Rank Math’s stored data and the WordPress database. Try the following steps:
1. Go to Rank Math → Status & Tools → Database Tools, and click Recalculate SEO Scores and Rebuild Index.
2. Clear any caching plugin or CDN cache (like Cloudflare).
3. Reopen the affected posts/pages and re-save them once.
After doing this, Rank Math should correctly identify the focus keywords and display accurate data in the “All Pages” view. If the problem persists, temporarily switch to a default theme to confirm whether the Kadence theme conflicts with Rank Math’s meta handling.
Thanks for your help, but my homepage still looks like – keyword not set. I don’t think Kadence conflicts with Rank Math, as I have another website and all seems to work fine.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
We’re able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Rank Math, where the keywords and score are not showing on the list view.
However, this has already been fixed and is available in our beta update: https://rankmath.com/kb/version-control/#beta-updates
If you don’t want to update to the beta version, you can wait for the official update, which will be pushed in a few days.
We really appreciate your patience in the meantime.
Looking forward to helping you.
