Rank Math SEO score not updating correctly after content changes

    Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with Rank Math not fully updating the SEO score after I make changes to my content.

Inside the post editor (Elementor), Rank Math does recognize my focus keywords and shows a score (for example, 74/100). However, this score doesn’t seem accurate anymore — I have fixed all the issues Rank Math suggested, but the SEO score does not increase or reflect the improvements.

So, Rank Math partly detects my edits (keywords, title, meta description, etc.), but the overall SEO score doesn’t refresh completely.

Here’s what I have already tried:

Recalculate SEO Scores in Rank Math → Status & Tools → Database Tools

    Rebuild Index for Analytics

    Flush SEO Meta Cache

Cleared all cache via WP Rocket and browser

    Verified Elementor Integration is enabled

    Saved permalinks again

Temporarily disabled WP Rocket to rule out admin cache

Despite all this, the SEO score inside the post editor remains outdated and doesn’t improve even after resolving all issues.
In the post list view, some posts still show “N/A” as well.

Could you please check if this is a known issue or tell me how to force Rank Math to fully reanalyze the post content and refresh the SEO score correctly?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Best regards,
    An Baert

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Rank Math SEO score not updating correctly after your content changes. Thank you for providing detailed information about the steps you’ve already taken to resolve this.

It seems like you’ve done a thorough job troubleshooting the problem. Since the SEO score is not reflecting the changes, we recommend trying the following additional steps:

    1. Ensure Focus Keyword is Set: Double-check that the focus keyword is set correctly for each post. If it’s not set, Rank Math may not calculate the score accurately.

    2. Check for Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins or themes can conflict with Rank Math. Try temporarily deactivating other plugins (except Rank Math) to see if that resolves the issue.

    3. Update Rank Math: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements.

    4. Use the Recalculate Scores Tool Again: After making sure everything is set correctly, try using the Recalculate Scores tool again in Rank Math → Status & Tools → Database Tools.

    5. Check Post Visibility: Make sure that the posts are published and not in draft or private mode, as this can affect how scores are calculated.

If you continue to experience issues after trying these steps, it may be beneficial to reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can take a closer look at your specific situation and provide further assistance.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to resolve this issue for you soon!

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply and the detailed instructions.

I have already verified all of the steps you mentioned:

    1. All focus keywords are correctly set for every post.
    2. I have deactivated all other plugins (except Rank Math and Elementor) to rule out conflicts.
    3. Rank Math is fully up to date (latest version installed).
    4. I’ve used the “Recalculate Scores” and “Recreate Database Tables” tools multiple times under Rank Math → Status & Tools → Database Tools.
    5. All posts are published (none are private or drafts).

Despite this, the SEO scores in the post list still show “N/A,” and the scores inside the editor are not updating after content changes. Everything else on my website is working correctly (HTTPS, caching, Elementor integration, etc.).

It seems the problem is related to Rank Math’s internal indexing or database link, as all focus keywords are recognized inside the editor but not reflected in the post list or Analytics section.

Could your team please check my site data from your side or provide a way to completely rebuild the SEO data index?
I can provide temporary admin access if needed for debugging.

Thank you very much for your help,
    Kind regards,
