SEO Score Showing “NA” Until Next Post Is Published

#1115926
  • Hello Rank Math Support Team,

I’m experiencing a strange issue with the Rank Math SEO plugin across all my WordPress websites (around 18 sites hosted on the same panel).

Whenever I publish a new post, the SEO score for that post shows “NA” in the WordPress dashboard. However, when I publish another post afterward, the previous post’s SEO score updates correctly — but the latest post again shows “NA.”
This cycle continues with every new post I publish.

Here’s a quick summary of what I’ve already checked and done:

✅ I’m using WordPress with the Rank Math SEO plugin.

✅ Hosting provider: Namecheap (shared panel with multiple WordPress sites).

✅ My hosting support confirmed that server cron jobs are running fine and wp-cron.php is not blocked.

✅ I’ve added an exception for https://wtecno.org/wp-cron.php as suggested by hosting.

❌ Despite all this, the SEO score for the most recent post still remains “NA” until the next post is created.

Everything was working perfectly before — this issue only started recently, without any major change to WordPress, Rank Math, or hosting settings on my end.

Could you please investigate this issue or guide me on how to fix the delayed SEO score update?
It seems like Rank Math’s SEO score calculation is only triggering after the next cron event or post publication, instead of updating immediately.

Thank you for your help and support. I’ll be happy to provide any logs, screenshots, or access details you may need.

    Best regards,
    [Your Website: https://wtecno.org/

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Rank Math SEO plugin. It sounds like a frustrating situation, and we appreciate you providing detailed information about your setup and the steps you’ve already taken.

The behavior you’re experiencing, where the SEO score shows "NA" until another post is published, can often be related to how the scoring algorithm is triggered. Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Recalculate SEO Scores: You can use the database tool in Rank Math to recalculate the SEO scores for all your published posts. To do this, navigate to Rank Math SEO → Status & Tools → Database Tools and click on Recalculate Scores. This may help in updating the scores correctly for your existing posts.
      Update SEO Scores

    2. Check CRON Settings: Since you mentioned that your hosting provider confirmed that server cron jobs are running fine, ensure that your wp-config.php file has DISABLE_WP_CRON set to false. This allows WP-Cron to function properly:

      define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', false);

You can also install the WP Crontrol plugin to monitor and manage your cron events more effectively.
Install and Activate WP Crontrol plugin

    3. Rebuild Index for Analytics: If the issue persists, consider rebuilding the index for analytics by going to Rank Math SEO → Status & Tools → Database Tools → Rebuild Index for Analytics. This can help resolve any discrepancies in the data being fetched.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with any relevant logs or screenshots, and a human agent from our support team will take over and assist you further. Additionally, if you could provide us with any specific error messages or behaviors observed during these processes, it would be helpful.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to resolving this issue for you!
