Meta description not saving

    Hi.

    We are working on some new landing pages. The pages have been duplicated from a main landing page template we created. We’re using RankMath to change the meta description, but after saving the page and then refreshing, the meta description reverts back to the original duplicated meta description. We’ve tried publishing the page, and still the meta description won’t save.

    We are running the latest version of RankMath and I’ve gone through the database tools, but still after running all these the error persists.

    Can you assist us in getting this resolved?

    Please check if you are using a Firewall, as it may prevent saving the changes.

    If you are using a Firewall, please whitelist this route:
    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta

    Whitelisting the route should fix the issue.

    Hi Princess,

    I have checked and that URL doesn’t appear to be blocked by a Firewall. I contacted our host and they confirmed it’s not blocked.

    I will work through that thread and come back to you.

    Hi.

    Finally got to the bottom of this. It was conflicting with a plugin called “Search Atlas SEO”. I’ve disabled the plugin and it’s working again now.
