    Rank Math free

Hi there, I cannot afford to get rank math pro but do want to add a schema mark up to my individual landing pages: eg> https://duncanstevens.com/motivational-keynote-speaker-barcelona-spain but I wanted to keep rank math switch on for its current free schema and add in Service (with Place) + Person schema and maybe some other elements. Am I right in thinking I can: use Rank Math’s Schema Generator → Import → JSON-LD/Custom Code on that page.

and this is the way to do it?

    Edit the page in WordPress.

Open the Rank Math panel → Schema tab → Schema Generator.

Go to the Import tab → choose JSON-LD / Custom Code.

Paste your JSON-LD (example below) → Add / Save for this post.

This is what chatgpt said but I’m not sure this is correct? Can you advise please?

I am wanting this schema mark up applied to individual pages like I mentioned above but keeping the global schema mark up switch on.

Also I wondered: do Rankmath do cover category pages as well if so howe can I enable them please?

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing. Yes, you are correct in your understanding of how to add custom Schema Markup using Rank Math’s Schema Generator. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you:

    1. Edit the Page in WordPress: Navigate to the specific landing page you want to add the Schema Markup to.
    2. Open the Rank Math Panel: In the Gutenberg editor, click on the Rank Math SEO icon or find it in the Plugins section.
    3. Go to the Schema Tab: Click on the Schema tab within the Rank Math meta box.
    4. Open the Schema Generator: Click on Schema Generator.
    5. Navigate to the Import Tab: In the Schema Generator, switch to the Import tab.
    6. Select JSON-LD/Custom Code: Choose the JSON-LD/Custom Code option from the dropdown.
    7. Paste Your JSON-LD Code: Enter your JSON-LD code into the provided field.
    8. Add/Save for This Post: After pasting your code, click on Process Code and then save it for that specific post.

This method allows you to keep the global schema markup enabled while adding specific schema markup to individual pages as needed.

Regarding your question about category pages, yes, Rank Math does support schema for category pages as well. To enable schema for category pages, you can go to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Categories and configure the schema settings there. Make sure to set up the appropriate schema type for your categories.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

To use the Schema Generator with custom JSON-LD imports, you’ll need the Rank Math PRO version. This feature isn’t available in the free version, so the method ChatGPT suggested would only work if you’re using PRO.

That said, Rank Math Free does automatically add appropriate schema (like Article or WebPage) to your pages and posts, and you can still enable or disable basic schema types under Rank Math → Titles & Meta → Posts/Pages.

Regarding category pages, yes — Rank Math adds the itemlist schema to them by default to enhance rich results. There’s no extra setup needed for this.

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

Hi Ike, Thanks for your message. Can I clarify:
    1. Currently there are no rank math seo options for focus categories in these pages: https://dubaikeynotespeakers.com/peak-performance-speakers/ Can this be added by toggling on Dashboard/SEO Titles & Meta then add seo controls? in the free version?

If not, is this only the paid version of rank math and will it give me full SEO functionality across every part of that website on ALL pages?

    2. If I bought the paid version, can I use the schame mark up across all pages and their will be no limit to the complexity of schema mark up I can add. eg: sameAs → Official profiles only (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Wikipedia if available). This cements your identity.

    image → A high-res professional headshot URL.

worksFor or founder → Link Duncan as the face of the business (Organization entity).

knowsAbout → Topics like “leadership,” “influence,” “keynote speaking,” “sales training.”

alumniOf → University or institutions (optional but credibility-boosting).

award → Any speaking awards or notable achievements.
offers → PriceRange or Offer object with “availability”: “InStock” (signals it’s an active service).

review or aggregateRating → If you have testimonials/review data. Even marking up 5-star reviews can help snippets.

audience → “Business professionals,” “Corporate teams,” etc.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: EVENT, OFFER, REGION Etc. All of the above can be achieved on each individual page across all of my personal websites?

    Hello,

    1. Yes, you can integrate the SEO controls to your category pages. You can do that in Rank Math → Titles & Meta → Categories → Add SEO Controls:
