Indexing and SEO Issues on TodayWalkinAlerts with Rank Math

#1111609
  • Hello Rank Math team,

I run TodayWalkinAlerts, a platform sharing real-time walk-in interview updates and hiring news across the UAE. Despite optimizing titles, meta descriptions, and using the Rank Math sitemap feature, several important pages are still not indexing properly in Google. I’ve also noticed schema inconsistencies on some job listing pages where structured data is either incomplete or not detected.

Could you please advise on the best troubleshooting steps or recommended settings in Rank Math to improve indexing and schema performance?

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issues you are facing with indexing and schema performance on your site, TodayWalkinAlerts. Thank you for providing the details about your situation. Here are some troubleshooting steps and recommended settings in Rank Math that may help improve your indexing and schema performance:

    1. Check Indexing Status

Ensure that the pages you want to be indexed are not set to noindex. You can check this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and reviewing the settings for each post type.

    2. Use Instant Indexing

To expedite the indexing process, consider using Rank Math’s Instant Indexing feature. Enable the module from Rank Math SEO → Dashboard, and then submit your pages for indexing directly from the posts page.

    3. Schema Markup Validation

For schema inconsistencies, use Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool to validate your structured data. This tool will help identify any errors or warnings in your schema markup. Ensure that all required fields are filled out correctly in Rank Math’s schema settings for each job listing.

    4. Quality Checks

Make sure your content meets quality standards. Google looks for well-written, relevant content. Consider conducting a content audit to remove or improve low-quality pages that may be affecting your overall site quality.

    5. Internal Linking

Enhance your internal linking structure by linking important pages from other relevant content on your site. This can help search engines discover and index these pages more effectively.

    6. Sitemap Submission

Ensure that you have submitted the correct XML sitemap to Google Search Console. The sitemap URL should be something like `https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/#rank-math-php-file. If you encounter issues, check for any plugin conflicts or errors in your robots.txt file that might be blocking access to your sitemap.
