  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your sitemap not updating automatically after creating new pages. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

    1. Flush the Cache: Since you are using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, it’s important to ensure that your sitemap is not being cached. You can try flushing the cache in the LiteSpeed settings. Additionally, you can also flush the sitemap cache in Rank Math by navigating to Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings and increasing the value of Links Per Sitemap by one, then saving your settings. After that, go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes to ensure the current settings are applied.

      Flush Permalinks

    2. Check Sitemap Settings: Ensure that your new pages are set to be indexed. Go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and check that the posts/pages you want included in the sitemap are set to index.

      Index Titles and Meta settings

    3. Validate Your Sitemap: You can validate your sitemap using the Validate XML Sitemap tool to ensure it is correctly configured.

    4. Exclude Sitemaps from Caching: Make sure that your sitemaps are excluded from caching by following the instructions in this knowledgebase article.

    5. Submit Correct Sitemap URL: Ensure that you have submitted the correct sitemap URL to Google Search Console. The correct URL should be `https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/. If you haven’t done so already, add this URL as a property in Google Search Console and verify it.

If you continue to experience issues after trying these steps, we recommend replying to this ticket with any additional details or errors you encounter, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope this helps resolve your sitemap issues!
